8 Core Values - Protege Golf Academy

8 Core Values

True sportsmanship is excellence in motion.

Starting with even the simplest gesture we believe good sportsmanship helps kids have a greater respect for the game of golf, sports in general and in life.

Each and every class a “Protégé” partakes in is designed to start the right building blocks of success on and off the course.

Perseverance, secret of all triumphs.

Never overdone, slowly but surely making sure that the habit of perseverance is strictly but responsibly enforced.  Commitment, endurance, and hard work all symbolize the core ethics that come with being a successful “Protégé”.

Honesty is the best policy.

Recognizing our mistakes is always a tough call. But having the integrity to tell the truth should never be questioned.

Respecting another’s voice

One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say.

Showing respect for the game and your peers is a must. In order to properly appreciate our surroundings we feel that it is a MUST for all attending students to have an understanding of traditions and honor in the game of golf.

As is our confidence, so is our capacity.

Too much or too little is a factor when it comes to confidence. Balance creates in environment for you to have positive yet realistic expectations.  Confidence leads to affecting a child toadult to be aware of insecurities to having faith in there own ability.

In-tune with ones awareness

Refers to your individual awareness of your unique thoughts.

Consciousness is key to protégé learning experience. Aside from being physically fit being mindful on and off the course is important to reaching success.

The price of greatness is responsibility.

Results in a positive character trait that shows a high degree of un-selfness.

The right thought

“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”

Taking right actions clearly plays a part in quality work and learning with clarity. Keeping good judgment slows down the game of golf and gives you a chance to think and visualize each shot.

Eliminating Bad Habits:

Energy for the body and mind:

Before we begin working towards accomplishing goals we need to be aware of our health. When simple diet plans are not met we are giving failure an opportunity.  Lets increase our chances for success by eating healthy not only for our bodies but our minds as well. A simple nutritious diet can provide our future athletes with the necessary energy and focus needed in their daily obstacles.

Being aware of your surroundings:

Awareness can give you good judgment which is the ability to make the best decision possible on the basis of an objective assessment of known information; while also resisting influences of peer pressure and emotions. Making decisions on and off the course is key to where you will be, want to be, and plan to be.

Being in Likeminded Surroundings:

Being aware of your surroundings brings you to surrounding yourself around people with goals and opinions like yours. Like-minded people praise each other and succeed in their own way because of the group they are in. This will help keep you on the right track toward your goals.

Turning goals into reality:

Turning goals into a reality can be easier with a plan to follow. People are 42% more likely to achieve their goals when they write them down. We help create a structured plan to turn your small or big goal into reality.
